Fees vary depending on the complexity of the service you receive. Special tests or procedures generally add to the cost of a routine exam. Your first visit is usually more costly than follow up visits. Payment for office visits is expected at the time of the visit. If your ability to pay is affected by a prolonged illness, unemployment or other special circumstances, we will do our best to make payment arrangements with you.
For your convenience, ENT Associates of Savannah participates in many health plans, and our physicians are members of many provider networks. Most insurance plans now require referral numbers before an office visit, for referral to other doctors, as well as pre-certification before surgery or special procedures. (For example, balance testing, blood work, CAT scans, MRI's, Barium Swallows) While our staff is happy to help you obtain this information, most insurance plans will hold you responsible for the cost of your care if you do not obtain a referral number or pre-certification. Without this information, your care may be delayed. For routine visits to ENT Associates of Savannah, you must pay co-payments or other fees required by your health insurance plan upon check-in. For your convenience, we are pleased to file insurance claims for you. We charge patients a $5.00 fee for each disability claim form we are asked to complete, for copies of office charges and for year-end statements. If we copy records, the charges are based upon federal guidelines.
